Yes. Viewings takes place the day prior to an auction at our site in Radcliffe where viewings are from 1-6pm and by appointment only, please email or call to book with us. There will be online auctions held on behalf of our vendors and stock may be held at an alternative location, this will be clearly stated on the auction listing.
All of our auctions are list on our Upcoming Auctions page here on our website, you can also find us on the i-Bidder network. In the auction catalogues you will find the start date and time, the end date and time, and all lots currently listed. On the very rare occasion no auctions are showing, there must be a technical problem so please try again at a later time.
To bid in any of our online auctions, you must have an account and be registered to the auction you wish to participate in. Once registered, there are two ways to bid - enter your maximum bid on the lot and click the bid button to submit it, or enter the next bid increment. When you enter a maximum bid, the auction software will bid on your behalf until the lots ends and you win, or your maximum bid is exceeded. If you enter the next bid increment, your maximum bid will be exceeded if another bidder has placed a higher maximum bid.
In addition to the winning hammer price, buying at auction attracts charges that apply to all sales. Buyer’s Premium – This is added to the cost of every lot and is a percentage of the hammer price which varies between auctions but is clearly stated in the auction details. VAT - the Buyer’s premium is subject to VAT at the standard 20%, the hammer price of a lot also attracts VAT unless otherwise stated.
